These are some images I took while walking in Dromore Woods near Ruan in County Clare. It was a gorgeous evening in February and the light of the sunset glowed a very warm orange. I hope ye enjoy the images below!!

Along my walk I came across this old tree stump that was covered in some sort of fungi. I thought that the the pattern of the fungi was very beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

I found the way the sun lit up the trees colouring them a fantastic warm orange against a back drop of blue sky to be very visually stimulating and quiet gorgeous.

The pattern of the branches in this image fascinated me. Especially so as they were all lit up by the warm of the orange light. Thus causing the shadows and highlights that you see.

You would be forgiven in thinking that the images below were taken in the month of September rather than in February with the way light of the sunset coloured everything.
